As a part of our new bg brand refresh, we wanted to enhance the experience of our space as well, so we reached out to Carolina Urban Lumber to create a custom conference table. It was important to find a local, inspired boutique that, like us, was passionate about their product and took the time to work with their clients individually. 

The Carolina Urban Lumber team is located down in Pineville, NC, and they create beautifully crafted pieces from lumber that would otherwise end up in a landfill. Their sustainable model aligned with our values, and working together we designed an organic shape that brought a sense of warmth and roughness while complementing the steel and concrete in our uptown office. 

Plus, we were able to trace the story of this big sugar maple slab back to its roots with their Treecyle TreeID system – which is very cool.
