With a BA in English and an MA in Cultural Anthropology, Phillip thought about becoming a professor. But then realized he preferred writing incisive strategy briefs and award-winning headlines to academic dissertations. Since then, he’s worked at big national agencies and mid-sized regional ones, but prefers the fast-paced idea-driven crucible of a boutique agency like birdsong gregory. A few of the brands he’s helped polish include Lowe’s, Xylem, Compass Group, Food Lion, and Continental.
