As if winning GUTS last year, wasn’t exciting enough, birdsong gregory defended the title, taking first place in the team category at the 5th annual GUTS pumpkin carving competition on October 25. With only 90 minutes to sculpt our enormous pumpkin, the bg carving crew, Landis Trainor, Elyssa Reale and I competed against 27 other talented teams from Charlotte ad agencies, making it the biggest GUTS event yet! Organized by our friends over at CRAFTED, the friendly competition brings together the Charlotte creative community and more importantly, raises money for the brave kids of Levine Children’s Hospital. Held at the NC Music Factory, the event raises money through registration fees, silent auction of the carved pumpkins, and GUTS gift packs. We are so excited to be a part of this amazing (and fun!) cause and are looking forward to defending the title again next year! Check out all the photos from the event here.
